When the Sun's Not Out...We Still Go to the Beach!

Coronado dog beach is just as much fun in the winter--although some people do not understand the concept of cold water and still want to splash about in the waves and then get soaking wet and shiver their timbers until they get changed.

Water!!!!

That dog looks familiar.

Someone's gonna need a bath.

Yes, We Have No Bananas

Dillon's excitement over eating bananas is only matched by Zeus' excitement over eating bananas. Luckily San Diego is the #1 port for bananas this side of the Mississippi.

No Picture Necessary

Last week Dillon pooped on the carpet. The end.

Giving Herself a Time Out

Babies are quick to pick up on what adults find interesting--phones, remote controls, dog crates. Apparently we give Zeus a lot of time outs because Dillon often crawls into his crate to see what the fuss is all about.

Cup of water? Crust of bread? Anything?

I'm also going to need some stuffed animals and picture books.

Parole granted!

That Was Then / This Is Now (III)

When Dillon was a newborn, I bought her two identical outfits--a striped onesie with matching pants. The purple outfit was 3 month, while the pink one was 12 month. While she was in the purple, it was crazy to think about the time she would be big enough for the pink. Now that she's in the pink, it's crazy to think about the time she wore the purple.

Dillon's "lay around n' cry" period.

Dillon's "eat n' play" period.

Wordless Wednesdays (I)

So around the ol' blogosphere there is something called Wordless Wednesdays. You post a picture and you don't write about it. Clearly thought up by a lazy blogger. I approve!

Morning in La Jolla

Last December I was delighted when Tasha (who you will remember from here and here and here too) said she would be in La Jolla visiting family. I met her and her lovely, funny boy Crosby where we ate brunch, visited the sea lions and played in the park. It was great seeing her and her growing son!

Lady, this ain't no double stroller!

Dillon visits the spot where her parents got hitched.

Dillon does yoga and a borderline racist impersonation of an Italian.

Taking a walk in the park.

Group portrait. Not exactly a success...

Mommy and baby.
