What I most love about the daycare Instagram is the peek I get into Dillon's hair care routine, which seems comparable to Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter.

We met up with some fellow Swissy owners downtown at the Quartyard. I think Zeus was the oldest dog there--and also the most handsome! Can you tell which one is him?

Horsing Around

We hit up the Del Mar Horse Show and got to watch the hunter/jumper competition in the beautiful San Diego sunshine. Favorite moment was Jaxon saying loud enough for the rider to hear: "She's not gonna make it." (He was right.)

America: Foxier Than Ever

Okay, these photos are out of order. You'll notice I'm still pregnant here, even though I've already posted "Quinn is born" photos. We were back at the Aviara for July 4. Conveniently, Dillon dressed in her Snow White costume, which had plenty of red, white and blue in it. Nothing wrong with an evening outdoors with friends, food and fireworks!

Live From Carnegie Hall: Itsy Bitsy Spider

Dillon recently performed a stirring rendition of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" for me. She'll be touring in the fall, so make sure to check her out when she comes to your hometown.

She just couldn't wait for August, so our sweet girl Quinn came to us in July. A few quick pix from the hospital...

DOB: 7/22/15
7lbs 1 oz / 18.5 in (official length, but debatable...at her first check-up she measured 20 in)

Japanese Friendship Garden

Dillon and I recently visited the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. It is always relaxing to walk among the bamboos and bonsai and Dillon loved the koi. A beautiful, peaceful afternoon.
