Mermaid in Training

Dillon has been taking swim lessons at the Y for awhile now (refresh your memory here). She still can't swim, but she is looking less rock-like each week!

The Polka Dot Hoodie Reappears

A co-worker gave me this adorable little polka dot vest...for Dillon! Four years later it looks just as cute on Quinn.

Quinn may not be able to walk and chew gum at the same time, but she can babble and pull on her toes! This video is a bit old, from back in November, but still adorable.

Being a child of America, it's no surprise that Dillon's favorite meal is a burger and fries (and KETCHUP)! Although we didn't tell her what it was up front, she even gobbled up this gator burger! Hope she'll grow up to have an adventurous palate.

Ursa Major (Big Bear) (Part 2)

Now for the actual skiing! Although Quinn and I hung out at the picnic tables, Craig and Dillon actually "hit the slopes." That's right--Dillon's first time on skis! She did great during her lesson and didn't cry once, even when she fell. We are super proud!

Ursa Major (Big Bear) (Part 1)

Because I am an awesome wife* I planned another surprise trip for Craig's Christmas/birthday present: a quick trip up to Big Bear. Craig hadn't been skiing in so long and it was hard to remember why we'd never driven up to Big Bear before. So when our friends asked if we wanted to go, I said "Yes, please!" We had a great time, even though there wasn't much snow off the mountain.
