The Littlest Mermaid

Although it gets more complicated as our family grows, we still love going to the beach. Dillon has a great time in the sand. Here Craig is helping her transform into the Little Mermaid.

Neither of them have any legs.

So happy to play in the sand.

Day Trip to the Botanic Gardens

I had the Friday before Easter off and after we spent the night in Carlsbad dogsitting Zeus' two brothers, Dillon and I spent the day at the San Diego Botanic Gardens.

First: breakfast.

Stopping to admire some flowers.

Climbing on a turtle.

Playing in the sand.

Pretending we were in Elsa's castle.

This trooper needs a break.

Dillon at the Dolphin Show

If there's one thing Dillon and her friend, Alyssa, love, it's going to SeaWorld. They are both old enough now to watch the shows too, which is a nice change!

Clapping during the show.

After-show photo op.

Sandbox break.

A very exciting sea lion show.

Happy Anniversary #8

Wow...have Craig and I really been married 8 years? (Yes and here's proof.) That means another trip to La Jolla and lunch at Nine-Ten. Lunch with a 3.5 year old is exhausting (and why there are no pictures), but playing with Dillon at the shore beforehand was fun. Next year with two kids...don't even want to think about it!

Walking to the tide pools.

Fancy.

7 month view of the water.

The view from the very spot where we were married.

Dillon Museum of Fine Art (10)

We are pleased to announce a new exhibit in the Dillon Museum of Fine Art: Hierogylphics (otherwise known as handwriting). Her tracing is pretty good, but freehand still needs a lot of work!

Craig could use these tracers himself.

Dillon made a sweet little baby book for Dragon.

Glitter sparkle dots.

Heart clover from St. Patrick's Day.

This is a rainforest. Maybe an acid rainforest?

Another Mother's Day, Another Picnic

As usual, we spent Mother's Day at Presidio Park having a picnic. By coincidence, we ran into the Wyatts who had the same idea. We had a nice afternoon eating sandwiches from Rubicon Deli and the girls played soccer and bubbles. I'm about 6.5 months pregnant in these photos but I look about 16 months pregnant. Yikes!

I believe this is "cookie crumb" face.

Carter and Dillon dressed up for the picnic...

...but maybe over-dressed for soccer.

Hi Dragon!

Adventures in Daycare: Return of the Jedi

A few more quick pix of Dillon Girl growing up right before our Instagrammed eyes.

I guess she's not superstitious?

Nothing makes you love being a parent more than when your kids are asleep.

I think they're working on some kind of circus act.

Dillon LOVES when the stamps come out!
