Kiddo Museum of Contemporary Art and Academics (28)

Dillon's drawings continue to be totally charming and this entry is the first time Quinn has a "school" project--working on her Q's.

Dillon's creativity continues to develop. Her ability to draw what she sees is pretty impressive. Quinn is still developing her style...

Monkeying Around with Grandma

Continuing with grandma's visit, we decided to hit up the zoo for some animal shenanigans.

Dillon brought along a notebook to draw pictures.

Including this pretty impressive elephant!

I love this picture because I look really tall!

Rocking a Florence Henderson hairdo.

Toucan spotting!

Kiddo Museum of Contemporary Art and Academics (25)

I feel like we don't have as much art from Quinn as we had from Dillon that age..or maybe it all just looks the same! Both girls love doing all sorts of (messy) art.

Stained glass jellyfish from Dillon.

This is a picture of Zeus, not of poop!

Quinn's happy princess scribbles.

Dillon made a book about her year in TK.

This is a pretty good praying mantis.

Not sure who wrote her name...but it wasn't Quinn!

Dillon Being Dillon

One of Dillon's greatest talents is her unbridled creativity. She often builds or draws something that amazes me. Including her own paper guitar and a grocery list necklace (don't want to lose it, you know).

Lollipops, smoothies, marshmallows and fresh vegetable.

Joan Jett: origin story.

Another Trip Around the Sun

It was a wild and wacky birthday for me this year! As always, I'm just grateful it happened.

We kicked things off with yummy In 'n' Out:

Well that's one way to wear it...

Burger babies.

Dillon also made a colorful smiley face popsicle:

Yum...?

Craig and I went out to dinner and had drinks at Polite Provisions. We had not been to a proper bar in a crazy long time!

Yup, his drink came in a bird glass.

No kids selfie.

We tried to go to the beach but SOMEONE was not behaving. I shant say who! I shant!

This was an early indications things would go south...

Kiddo Museum of Contemporary Art and Academics (23)

Dillon's burgeoning art skills continue to impress. Her drawings are looking closer and closer to reality and she has a great creative streak. Quinn is still an unknown quantity but she sure does love to eat markers.

Scribble scrabbles.

Dillon wrote all about herself. Her favorite hobby is "iPad."

Writing about fire stations, including their dalmatians.
