Adventures in Daycare

Last month was a huge milestone for Dillon! She started going to daycare a few days a week at a great place not too far from home. The transition was rocky, but she really seems to enjoy playing, learning about nature, and eating snacks! Although she's the tiniest tot there, she is making a big impression on her teachers who said, "Dillon has stolen our hearts! We love her."

They're also great about posting photos on Instagram, so we get a little sneak peek into her secret life...

I'm having a pretty great first day!

I love this ball. A lot.

Me and my friend are trying on funny sunnies.

Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes, Knees and Toes

I took this video last month, but as you can see Dillon has been learning the parts of the body. We are proud parents, yes we are! PS--Craig bought that cute ice cream onesie for her all on his own!

Sewing: Ruffled Halter Top

After sewing Dillon two "lazy days" skirts, I moved on to a ruffled halter top. I learned lots of new skills, like how to make ruffles! The tops are really cute, although they require ironing to make the ruffles presentable.

"On se casse"

Little bikes on the front; ticking stripe on the back.

Possible outfit.
"Via Maris"

I love the little fish and anchor on the back.

A Patchwork Kind of Day

Dillon doesn't just do one thing a day--she does 50. Here is a glimpse into a typical Sunday.

First we suit up.

Then we do our chores.

Then we relax with Hop-Hop.

Then we collect rocks.

Then we play in the hammock.

Then the day is done!

Out and About: Lazy Days Skirts

Last month I posted some pictures of two skirts I'd made for Dillon. Now comes the post where she models the outfits for us.

Waiting around for pizza.

Showing off her sparkly skirt.

I never met a wood chip I didn't like.

Lake Murray Park

There's a new park in the neighborhood. Dillon always has a great time when we go, even though she's too small for most of the equipment. Sometime just collecting a few rocks is enough for this little kid. Of course a froggy rocker never hurt anyone either!

Off and running.

Happiness is a froggy rocker.

Ribbit! Ribbit!

Far away and up close.
