Welcome Home

This post is a bit out of order, but as soon as Quinn and I came home from the hospital, Dillon wanted to play babies right alongside us. It was good to see her so excited about her little sisty, as she calls her.

Hello, babies!

Just realizing I have two kids now.

The girls.

Quinn Zzzz...

In those early days all babies seem to do is sleep, eat and cry. The sleeping pictures are the cutest, so here is a crop of Quinn logging in some serious naps.

Chop Chop

Dillon requested another haircut--it's hard to keep those curls looking good!--so we went back to Loretta, who did another bang up job. Quinn, all of two days old, came along as well. It may have been her first official outing.

First a relaxing shampoo.

Just a little off the back...

After the blowout...the final product.

She slept through the whole thing.

Museum of Making Music

We had so much fun the first time we went, Dillon and I headed back to the Museum of Making Music where I decided to take up the banjo when I retire and Dillon rocked out on the drums.

Dillon's favorite song of all time is "Hey Jude"

Channeling Bonzo.

Strumming.
The thing about the drum kit at the museum is that you hear the drum sounds through the headphones but no one else does. The singing everyone hears.

That Was Then / This Is Now (19)

About once a year I meet up with my friend Tasha who lives in L.A. Her oldest, Crosby, was born a few days before Dillon and it's always fun to see how they are growing! Not too long ago they came down this way and we met for breakfast in Encinitas.
