Zany Zoo

Dillon has a wooden toy called Zany Zoo. It has a bead maze, alphabet blocks and animal pictures on it. She can get very intent when she's playing. I mean that's a pretty serious looking toddler...

And then the bead goes around...

And then the bead goes down...

Don't bother me while I'm playing!

That Was Then / This Is Now (IV)

You can always count on a grandmother to buy silly headbands for a grandbaby. Last year it was bunny ears and this year it was flower petals. Click here to see last year's Easter post.

I look silly, don't I?

In bloom.

Happy Easter!

It's hard to believe we just celebrated Dillon's second Easter. We went up to Carlsbad to meet our friends at the park and also hid a few eggs in the backyard. It was a race to see if Zeus or Dillon would find them first!

How do I scramble these?

Easter bunny!!

Nothing more fun than dirt.

Our little flower.

3 bunnies + 1 flower = Happy Easter!

Lucy's Toga Birthday Party

Last month Dillon's friend Lucy turned two. To celebrate her parents threw her a toga-themed birthday party. I made Dillon a toga out of a pillow case and some rick rack. After that I was too tired to make costumes for Craig and me, but Dillon was festive enough for all of us.

Can Hop-Hop come to the party?

They had trucks in ancient Greece, right?

Wow, we're all looking at the camera! Yeah!

The Doctor Will See You Now

Sometimes you just want to hang out in the exam room in your diaper and socks while you eat a snack and play with some toys.

Don't Mess With Texas (II)

The day after the wedding, we met John and Ana at Lulu's for brunch where, yes, we ordered a 3.5-lb. cinnamon roll. Then we drove to New Braunfels(ish) for a BBQ to celebrate newlyweds Mike and Lettie. Dillon had a great time playing with every kind of ball imaginable: football, volleyball, golf ball, croquet ball, dodge ball, etc...

Dillon meets Uncle John and Aunt Ana!

Adam Richman went toe-to-toe with this on "Man vs. Food!"

Someone loves ketchup!

So many balls, so little time.

Can I wear a dress in the NFL?

Croquet anyone?
