Floppy Hats and Soccer Balls

One afternoon we decided to visit this sweet little park that I love in Mission Hills. We hiked, we played soccer, we had time-outs--you know, typical two-year-old stuff!

Dillon got a time out the second we got to the park.

Taking a stroll with daddy.

Purple suede fringe boots = hiking boots?

Mommy, Dillon, floppy hat, soccer ball.
Dillon loves to turn the camera on others.

Daddy tries on the floppy hat.

These people are my parents?
Finally a little video of Dillon kicking around with daddy. The song "Old Days" is by Craig's favorite band: Chicago!

Trolley Comics

On a day off from work, Dillon and I decided to channel our inner hobos and ride the rails--the trolley rails, that is. We went to the book store, the coffee shop, and even took a snooze in the grass. Here it is, in comic strip form.

John + Ana + DIllon

Last spring John and Ana came to visit for a few days and got to spend some quality time with Dillon. She often says "Ana is my friend," which confused us until we realized she was talking about one of the characters from Frozen. Thanks, Disney!

Another Dillon sandwich, this time with a milkshake.

That Was Then / This Is Now (XIII)

Remember the first thing I ever sewed for Dillon? It was a seersucker skirt, and it still fits!

Adventures in Daycare: Free Refills on Popcorn!

Dillon continues to enjoy her time at daycare. She's aged up into a new group of classmates and is getting to do new art projects and new learning activities.

Springtime flower bookmarks (with Mateo).

Cloud-gazing.

Floam time!

"I just need to write some memos."

Pyjama Day!

Pint-size Juke Box

On a recent trip to I-don't-know-where, Dillon kept us very entertained with a string of songs, some of which I believe she improvved.

Play list:
"If You're Happy and You Know It"
"ABCs"
"If You Have to Pee"
"Give Me Almond Milk"
