Museum of Making Music

We had so much fun the first time we went, Dillon and I headed back to the Museum of Making Music where I decided to take up the banjo when I retire and Dillon rocked out on the drums.

Dillon's favorite song of all time is "Hey Jude"

Channeling Bonzo.

Strumming.

The thing about the drum kit at the museum is that you hear the drum sounds through the headphones but no one else does. The singing everyone hears.

2 Months Old!

As of September 22:

That Was Then / This Is Now (19)

About once a year I meet up with my friend Tasha who lives in L.A. Her oldest, Crosby, was born a few days before Dillon and it's always fun to see how they are growing! Not too long ago they came down this way and we met for breakfast in Encinitas.

Jump Around Jump Around Jump Up Jump Up Get Down

Remember when children's birthday parties were in your backyard with a homemade cake and some ham sandwiches? Those days are over!!! Check out this video of our pal Riley's 3rd birthday. [Song is "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. If you haven't seen Dillon rock out to this song, you're missing out. Yes, that is Craig in the bounce house too. Apparently boys also wanna have fun.]

Cupcakes with the birthday girl.

Birthday in the Park

Even though Quinn was only about 10 days old, we thought it was high time she went to a concert! So while a cover band played some really loud music, we celebrated our pal Elle turning the big 0-2.

Car ride over. Can't believe how big she is.

Helping distribute party hats.

Enjoying a delicious birthday cupcake.

Quinn's first concert. She slept through the whole thing.
