Adventures in Learning: Armed and Fabulous

Running low on pix of these kids at school, but here are a few I managed to scrounge up!

Dillon in head-to-toe hand-me-downs from friends.

Field trip to Sprouts means spending time in the walk-in fridge. Brrr!

Quinn and Greta having a great time.

I didn't realize hummus was so messy.

Luau day with BFFs Reece and Lulu.

Sharing a giggle with Reecey.

Flowers. Lots and Lots of Flowers (Part 3)

I remember being so tired by the end of this day!

Love this field of red.

These ice creams were a real comedy show.

Quinn waved to everyone we passed on our tractor ride.

That's a shot of genuine joy right there!

Flowers. Lots and Lots of Flowers (Part 2)

More flowers! More pollen! More pistils and stamens!

A lovely bunch of reds.

Four people in a selfie!

Stopping to smell the flowers.

Pretending to be the flowers.

I have so many flowers photos!

Flowers. Lots and Lots of Flowers (Part 1)

Grandma came to visit a little while ago and I thought it would be fun to visit the Carlsbad Flower Fields again. We hadn't been since Dillon was a baby and threw up on herself in the car--memories! So get ready for A LOT of flower pictures.

Such a pretty color palette.

A crazy outfit with accessories my mom brought with her.

Gorgeous orange.

And yellow tinged with orange.

The kind of picture they will probably hate when they're older!

Mind Melt at Morley Field

Do you remember when I used to post pictures of the babies crying because I thought that was a big part of parenting? Well the crying hasn't really stopped. We recently went for a walk around Morley Field and Dillon had a full-on meltdown...about what? No one remembers. It was epic though.

Quinn pretending she's blind???

Started off okay...

...ended poorly.

Oh you want to see an video of the tantrum? Sure thing! [Song is "I Don't Want to Cry" by Abra Moore]

Art in the Park

One spring day I picked Dillon up from camp and then we spent the evening in Balboa Park. It was such a fun, pleasant way to spend a Friday...more to come this summer, I hope.

First some park time with Millie Mills.

Then some climbing on St. Phalle's gator.

Bourgeureau at the San Diego Art Museum.

Spending some time with O'Keffee.

Dinner at Panama 66.

Quinn was there too!
